“Protect Your Child!
![]() Help Your Child Be Happy, Healthy and StrongThe Shinobi Martial Arts Little Ninjas Training Curriculum is designed for children four through nine years of age. The training is a combination of the mind and body sciences of To-Shin Do created by Stephen K. Hayes and the LIVE Children’s Injury and Violence Prevention Program for School Systems. The focus is on injury prevention along with non-offensive evasion and escape techniques, not the use of force. Our goal as instructors is to create a fun, safe and adventurous experience that has the potential to transform the children into healthier, happier, stronger beings.
Letter From A Little Ninja Parent: “I do know it was purely amazing to witness a seven year old take it upon himself to find a place alone and use a tool he’s learned to produce a total and complete change in mental state. And a lasting effective change too. He plowed through the homework without another issue and held onto the new attitude without wavering. I still don’t even really know what to make of it honestly… I’m sort of dumbfounded.” Click Here To Read The Whole Letter Professionally Planned and Scheduled Self Protection ClassesIn order to provide the best experience possible for our young students, every moment, from the time they walk in the door until the time they leave is planned out and scheduled. Our instructors are trained not only in the martial arts but also in professional classroom management. Improve Your Child’s Body Mind and Spirit at Shinobi Martial ArtsInstructors welcome the class, make any pre-announcements and lead the class in the student creed. I believe in myself. I am confident. I can accomplish my goals. After the creed the instructor will discuss the Power Word of the month. Each month the children are introduced to concepts, like focus, enthusiasm or awareness and taken through mind exercises designed to help them grow into powerful individuals. Class then moves on to exercise drills based on the elemental movements of Earth, Water, Fire and Wind. These exercises help increase your child’s strength, balance and pliability. Keep Them Safe With Injury Prevention and Violence EvasionThese are followed by injury prevention drills like rolling, safety drops and leaping. It’s far more likely that your child will experience an accident than a violent attack. These skills are designed to keep them safe. The next section of class is devoted to evasion drills. The importance of learning how to evade violence is immeasurable. No martial art technique is worth anything if you get hit on the first attack. Martial arts were originally designed to decrease violence not increase it and evasion skills are the foundation of that philosophy. At this point the group continues with situational escape practice. Here the children practice their evasion and escape skills against different attacks that they could possibly face in real life. The goal is not to defeat the attacker but to quickly get away to safety. Class ends with a focus drill and a Power Word reminder for reinforcement. The entire curriculum is designed to keep your child safe and help them challenge themselves to be better people. Learn more about:
