Why Shinobi Martial Arts in Plaistow NH
A Letter from the Shinobi Martial Arts Owners
|
Dear Prospective Member,
Thank you for taking the time to find out about Shinobi Martial Arts here at our website. You will find we are very different from most martial arts schools you will encounter. The easiest way to explain this difference may be to explain what we are not.
Not A Sport
Shinobi Martial Arts does not teach martial sport. There is nothing wrong with competitions and games of sport but even though they may use martial arts tools, the principles of self-defense and combative martial arts are very different. The arts we teach are meant to protect you, keep you safe and get you home.
Not Cookie Cutter
What this means for you and each and every student is that you receive a completely unique martial art experience. Whether you are brand new to the martial arts or a seasoned practitioner (like the more than thirty Shinobi students with black belts in other martial arts who have started over at white belt) the principles are custom fit to your situation.
From the police officer on the New Hampshire SWAT Team, to our seven month pregnant mother to be, the teenager in an arm cast, or the four year old child in the Little Ninja class, we are helping each to create their personal self-defense system with the time tested principles of our ninja martial art.
Not A Belt Factory
Shinobi Martial Arts is not a belt factory. No one receives rank just for showing up to class and there are no child black belts in our school. A black belt at our school means that you understand and can use the basics of the system to defend yourself and are now ready to study the art in depth. A student must be at least thirteen years old with a minimum of fives years training for a youth black belt and sixteen years old for an adult black belt.
The Ninja Martial Arts we practice are so immense that it can take forty years to learn the entire system. The three of us continue to train with our teachers on a weekly basis. And we have been extremely fortunate to be taught by the best, Mark Davis, Stephen and Rumiko Hayes, Dr. Masaaki Hatsumi (our direct teaching lineage) along with many other senior teachers in ninjutsu both here and in Japan.
Not A Gym
Shinobi Martial Arts is not a gym. There is no wasted time, every exercise and drill in class contains a principle or lesson necessary for your advancement in the art. Each of our classes follows a preplanned curriculum created by our teachers and is taught by friendly, professionally trained instructors to safely bring out the best in each student at their individual pace. The training is an awesome workout but we don’t spend half your class doing what should be done in a gym, we teach.
Not Locked In To Contract
As for business the Shinobi difference continues with a no strings attached customer policy. We are so confident in the services we provide that there are no contracts at Shinobi Martial Arts. Have no doubts, we are a premium martial arts school and we constantly strive to provide training and service that far out paces your investment of time and money. We also understand the difficult economic times and have responded with quite simply the best family plan available.
Not Taught By Amateurs
A discount program run by hobbyists is likely to be poorly designed and unskillfully presented. You could lose the opportunity for you and your child to get the real and lasting benefits of authentic martial arts training. The three of us combined have over eight decades of martial arts training, four decades of teaching experience and two decades experience running a dojo. Start with the best school right from the beginning.
Shinobi Martial Arts!
The children call us sensei but our names are Darryl, Dennis and Theresa and we invite you to become a member of our Shinobi family.
